Qatar Fashion United set a record by hosting the largest fashion show ever, boasting an impressive 20,000 attendees. This unique event blended fashion, culture, and music during the semifinals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The 974 Stadium was the perfect venue for this momentous occasion, providing the audience with a final opportunity to bid farewell to the amazing stadium before it is disassembled and moved elsewhere.

Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani initiated the event, while Carine Roitfeld joined forces with Qatar Creates to bring it to life. The show was graced by fashion designers from all corners of the globe, including the two local labels Aliya Al Obaidly Official and Harlienz, who collaborated on an exclusive and remarkable performance featuring their luxuriant couture pieces. Additionally, some world-renowned models like Iman Hammam, Adriana Lima, and many others, were also present.

The evening was further enlivened with performances by top international and regional artists like the Lebanese pop star Nancy Ajram who sang some of her hit songs like ‘ah o nos,’ as well as Kadim Al Sahir who performed some of the audience’s favorite songs like ‘zeidini ishqan.’ the musical entertainment continued with DJ Snake, Post Malone, Zakes Bantwini, and more renowned luminaries.

Another highlight from the eventful evening was the appearance of the football star David Beckham, who nailed it with his trendy-chic look, wearing a brown sweater combined with a pair of cream trousers and light brown suede shoes.
