Preen’s catwalk show was part of a series of events taking place at the UK Pavillion, as a part of the ‘In the Future… What will we Wear?’ program which ran from Friday 22nd October to Wednesday 27th October. The unique program explores the future of fashion and retail with leading industry insights from speakers like Jimmy Choo, the British Fashion Council, and the Royal College of Art.

Inspired by the rainbow-stripe test card screens that appeared in the 1980s when TV stations used to sign off for the night, Preen by Thornton Bregazzi showcased their spring-summer 2022 collection, filled with an array of bright, bold and inspirational hues. We saw playful patchwork walking across the runway, along with recycled knit in the form of sweaters and oversized cardigans, which took centre stage, along with unique black and white graphics featuring diamonds, dots and stripes that are inspired by all things static.

The key silhouette takeaways from the exclusive show included voluminous dresses, which contained armour-like vegan leather and neoprene bodices. All fabrics within the collection are recycled, organic and FSC certified vegan leather. With an importance on promoting sustainable fashion and celebrating the industry practice for positive changes within the industry.
