The El Gouna Film Festival is one of the world’s biggest red carpets. For its 5th addition, the event’s lineup of premiers and parties has enriched the film industry while providing the ultimate style and endless array of standout fashion.

Yesterday, during the opening ceremony at the El Gouna Film Festival, there were rather impressive looks as far as the eye could see. Rima Fakih delivered gothic meets ultra-chic vibes in a sheer yet feathery gown by Charbel Zoe, while Maya Diab appeared in the dreamiest monochrome fit with a statement headpiece, opera gloves and strapless gown in candy red. Step up to the red carpet; you’d find Nadine Njeim wearing the dreamiest Zuhair Murad gown. By the looks of it, the Lebanese star loves a good bedazzled moment, as she wore a similar design to the Murex D’or Awards last month. Still, nonetheless, the actress knows how to step out in style and complete and utter sophistication.

With the film festival in full swing, we’ve noticed simple, sleek hair, pretty, not overstated makeup and subtle yet trendy jewellery and a lot of diamonds took over the red carpet—glamour with a capital G.

The Film Festival originally started as a passion project for art, culture, and filmmaking and now has grown to showcase personal milestones for filmmakers across the region. Apart from celebrating all-things-cinema, the ceremony was an excellent opportunity for celebs to show off more stunning looks.

Ahead, find Grazia’s roundup of the best-dressed looks from the El Gouna Film Festival 2021.
