We love our classic eco-conscious beauty brands. Tata Harper, RMS Beauty, and Ilia never let us down. Our table is big enough though, for the newbies and lately, we’ve been sliding over and making more room. We’ve noticed that emerging eco-concious beauty brands seem to be popping up from all corners of the world. These are the ones that should be on your radar.

Bread Beauty Supply

We love the name. Seriously. Bread Beauty Supply (prices starting at Dhs90, Cult Beauty) is a sustainable haircare brand that is perfect for the Dubai heat and humidity. This emerging eco-conscious beauty brand focuses on haircare products for women with texture, coils, and curls. Bread Beauty Supply is an eco-friendly haircare brand due to its sustainable steps towards a healthier planet. The formulas are packaged in thin plastics and reusuable glass bottles, thus contributing to less landfill waste.

DamDam

Japanese emerging eco-conscious beauty brand, DamDam, has taken sustainable strides in every aspect from the creation to distribution of their skincare line. Focusing of traceability, preservation, and waste reduction, DamDam takes pride in their ever-evolving commitment to the planet. This skincare range features products containing high-quality botanicals and ingredients. We love the Mochi Mochi Luminous PLumping Moisturizer (Dhs240, damdamtokyo.com). It contains the antioxidant rich and omega-3 packed Japenese mint Shiso Leaf. This moisturiser also features phytic acid from Japanese rice. This alpha hydroxy acid minimises the appearance of pores, evens out skin tone, and restores skin’s youthful elasticity.

Inika Organics

With beautiful makeup colours and shades as well as skincare products with incredibly effective ingredients, it’s no surprise that Australian made emerging eco-concious brand, Inika Organics, made our list. Even better, the brand is halal. Inika Organics is a clean beauty brand, using only sustainably sourced ingredients. They also package their products in recycled materials. We love the Inika Organics Liquid Foundation (Dhs126, inikaorganics.com). It contains hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate our skin and plump up our pesky fine lines.
