Burak Cakmak, CEO of the Fashion Commission, expressed his excitement ahead of the event, stating, “The EMERGE pop-up is an opportunity for everyone in Paris to discover what Saudi creatives have to offer. I look forward to welcoming our visitors to explore one-of-a-kind products, taste authentic Arabian cuisines, and connect with the Saudi story.”

The EMERGE pop-up event is a significant milestone for the Saudi fashion industry, highlighting its impressive growth and the immense talent that resides within the country. The Saudi 100 Brands programme, led by the Fashion Commission, has played a vital role in empowering local designers, helping them develop their fashion, luxury, and jewellery businesses. Since its launch in 2021, the Saudi 100 Brands programme has provided masterclasses, workshops, mentorship sessions and professional development opportunities to Saudi talents. The programme has also allowed events to take place at prestigious fashion weeks in New York, Paris and Milan. With its focus on ten different categories, including ready-to-wear, modest fashion and jewellery, the programme has fostered a diverse group of designers, ranging from self-taught individuals to graduates from top international design schools.
