On Monday night, Daisy Edgar-Jones stepped out in New York City for the premiere of the highly-anticipated film adaption of Where The Crawdads SingIn a nod to her on-screen character Kya, the actress wore an ethereal dress from the Gucci Cosmogonie Resort 2023 collection.

The dress features a cascading hemline and is entirely made from the embroidered flowers. On the runway it was modelled with just tiny nude briefs however the actress made the look a little more PG with a nude lace slip.

The 24-year-old appeared alongside fellow cast members Harris Dickinson and Taylor John Smith. She was also photographed with Reese Witherspoon who served as a producer on the upcoming film.

The film is adapted from the award-winning novel of the same name by Delia Owens. It follows the story of Kya, an abandoned girl who raised herself to adulthood in the dangerous marshlands of North Carolina. Drawn to two young men from town, Kya opens herself to a new world; but when one of them is found dead, she is immediately cast by the community as the main suspect.

Edgar-Jones has had a huge year on the silver screen after her breakout role in Normal People. She recently appeared alongside Sebastian Stan in the Disney thriller Fresh and the Jon Krakauer adaption of Under the Banner of Heaven.
