Togetherness is a Jewel | Courtesy of Cartier

With Ramadan only days away, Cartier has just released their dedicated Ramadan campaign featuring some of our very favourite iconic collections. To celebrate the holy month, the high jewellery brand has brought on some of the region’s very best talent to echo the brand’s everlasting relationship and connection to the region. Cartier has always featured a wide variety of faces in their campaigns to celebrate diversity and union, and this year’s Ramadan campaign saw no exception.

Titled Togetherness is a Jewel, the campaign organically aligns with the true essence of Ramadan: union, solidarity and love. Featuring four local talents, the video is set in the majestic dunes of the Arabian desert, symbolising the tranquility of the open landscape along with the historical references it has to the region as well as Islam. Fatima Al-Banawi reads out a poem written by her for the special campaign in Arabic, where she gracefully celebrates the holy month and reminds us of the blessings and serenity that come with it. Al-Banawi is a renowned Saudi filmmaker and actress who made strides in her country and sewed what many other Saudi women are now reaping the benefits of.
