Bre Tiesi, the former model and Selling Sunset co-star, has opened up about the deep-seated rift between her and fellow cast member Chelsea Lazkani in a new interview with People. As tensions continue to escalate, Tiesi sheds light on the current state of their relationship, following Lazkani’s public criticisms of Tiesi’s personal life and family.

In the interview, Tiesi shares her position on the matter, stating, “I stand nowhere with Chelsea except very far away from her.” As a mother who shares a son with Nick Cannon, Tiesi reflects on the strained connection, emphasizing her distance from Lazkani. “I am good on her. I wish her the best, and she can sort out whatever issue it is that she seems to have with me and my family,” Tiesi continues, hinting at Lazkani’s need for self-reflection.

The tension between the two women reaches its peak during season six of the Netflix reality show, which aired on May 19th. In episode four, Lazkani shares her thoughts on Tiesi’s family situation, describing her discomfort with Tiesi’s relationship with Nick Cannon as “off-putting.” Lazkani highlights the stark differences in their lifestyles, particularly their contrasting Christian values, casting doubt on the possibility of deep friendship.

Notably, Lazkani refers to Cannon, who is a father to 11 children, as a “master manipulator” and boldly criticizes the act of “creating multiple broken homes,” deeming it “disgusting.” Later in the season, she confronts Tiesi face-to-face, expressing her belief that it is “unfair” for children to be born into a situation where their father is not fully present.

Tiesi, who shares a nine-month-old son, Legendary Love, with Cannon, confronts the criticisms from Lazkani head-on. In a clip, she defends her choices, asserting that her personal life is her own business and not subject to judgment. In the interview, Tiesi explains, “It goes a little too far in my personal opinion. We’re on a show; we’re here to make TV. But also, this is my real life, and not everything is as someone tries to make it seem.”

With regards to her relationship and family, Tiesi firmly states, “I won’t defend my relationship and my family. I feel like I’ve done enough of that. But I’ll say we’re very happy over here, and Chelsea’s the only one with the problem.”

Announced in August, Tiesi and agent Nicole Young joined the cast for seasons six  and seven of the hit reality show, which follows the exclusive Oppenheim Group real estate firm as they navigate the world of luxury home sales in Los Angeles.
