Earlier this year in Dubai, Beyoncé performed at a private concert to mark the opening of the region’s new luxury hotel, Atlantis The Royal. Among the 1,500 attendees included rapper Jay-Z, model Kendall Jenner and other social media personalities and royal members. Atlantis The Royal, located near Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah, is a $1.4 billion (Dhs5.1 billion) luxury hotel that took 8 years in the making. Within the hotel lies The Royal Mansion, the real star of the show. Atlantis Resorts Managing Director and Vice President Timothy Kelly believes “it is the largest mansion in the world,” he tells Arabian Business. Living up to its name, the royal suite is 11,000 square feet and exudes luxury with its lavish furnishings, elegant decor and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

The Royal Mansion has hosted an array of royalty and heads of state looking for a private escape. The secluded room is often occupied by families and couples, with Beyoncé residing in the mansion alongside her husband Jay-Z, their three children and her mother Tina Knowles. Privacy is key, and the hotel offers guests staying here a private lobby and escalator, as well as the opportunity to gain access to 16 rooms in total by taking over the 18th and 19th floors of the hotel.

The two-level four-bedroom duplex suite holds three king-size and two queen-size beds, and can accommodate up to nine people. Each bathroom comes with its own Hermès bath products, and guests can experience the ultimate pamper session in their very own private steam room. Not to mention, the primary bedroom, which lies on the second floor, has incredible views over the city’s skyline, creating a breathtaking backdrop of Dubai’s glittering lights.

Guests can even lounge on the 5,123-square-foot terrace that overlooks views of the Arabian Sea. Not to worry, if Dubai’s heat gets too much, guests can dive into the temperature-controlled infinity pool. With meticulous attention to detail, the duplex suite ensures that every aspect of your stay is marked by luxury, promising an unforgettable retreat.
