It is well known by now that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have linked up after rekindling their love from 2003. But in a fresh development overnight, an eagle-eyed fan has noticed one incredible detail that we would have otherwise missed.
The couple were spotted in Miami this week with Affleck wearing a silver chain-link watch. It appears to be the same watch that he wore several times during their relationship two decades ago including at a Lakers game and on the set of Lopez’s music video for “Jenny from the Block” in October 2002.
We love a Bennifer-era style moment.
At the weekend Lopez’s ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez publicly responded to the new relationship for the first time.
“I am about to step into a new beginning in my life,” Rodriguez wrote on Instagram stories. “Anything that doesn’t serve me is clearing out of my life. New energy is emerging. New levels are unlocking for me mentally, physically, and spiritually. I am remaining patient and know that this new phase of my life is coming.”
News of the fresh spark was first reported in early May. Affleck and Lopez were seen spending time together in Los Angeles before jetting off on a vacation to Yellowstone Club in Montana. You can say our reaction was reminiscent to Jennifer Lawrence’s response – hysterical.
