As the Dubai community searches for more ways to show solidarity for Palestine, there’s a unique event taking a beauty-first approach. Taking place on March 21st at lifestyle concept store The Collective, Beauty for Peace will fundraise for the ongoing devastation in Gaza.

Founder of The Big Beauty Scoop, Vicki Ashlin, teamed up with Deena Alawaid – the owner of Collective Hair – and freelance hairstylist Yasmin Subhan to curate a beauty event packed with products and treatments galore, all for an incredible cause. “We have felt both overwhelmed and helpless while witnessing the situation in Gaza unfold,” Vicki told GRAZIA. “We wanted to take action to raise funds for those suffering so have partnered with the Dubai Cares ‘Gaza in Our Hearts’ campaign. I am so grateful for the way the Beauty Community has pulled together giving up time, services and products to make this happen.”

Offering an array of local and Palestinian-owned brands, Beauty For Peace goes beyond beauty shopping. Think: an exclusive range of hair appointments, spray tans, nail services, makeovers and stalls brimming with amazing beauty buys. This is where you can get glammed up whilst knowing 100% of all beauty/hair treatments’ proceeds will be donated directly to the most affected.
