Just like everyone else you follow on social media, Addison Rae is currently in the middle of a chic European vacation. Touring Italy with her boyfriend, Omer Fedi, the 21-year-old TikTok sensation has been sharing photos from the trip, including days by the famous Venice canals, gelato on cobblestone streets and swimming in crystal clear water.
Despite the views, what’s captured my attention the most is Rae’s documentation of her suitcase, which appears to be packed to the brim with current It brands, and the way she’s been styling each piece for ‘fit pics which rival that of those at the very forefront of the style set, such as Bella Hadid and Dua Lipa.
Not only has Rae perfected moving from feminine dresses in Venice to low-key looks amid cobblestone streets, but she’s picked pieces from up-and-coming labels that prove she’s a fashion girl through and through: a red corset swimsuit by Turkish brand Dilara Findikoglu — undoubtedly the most coveted swim designer this year — paired with one of the brand’s matching red Victorian-era like hats has to be one of Rae’s best beach looks yet.
Another perfect 10 was the backless striped cowlneck dress by Aya Muse, the LA-based brand that also counts Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski, Gigi and Bella Hadid and Kaia Gerber as fans, paired with loose wavy hair and a red lip:
Other notable moments include Rae pairing baggy, ’90s style dad shorts from Andersson Bell with a Peachy Den top, accessorised with a black and white dotted headscarf, a nylon Prada mini-bag, and oval sunglasses from Marine Serre, and a strapless black denim dress worn with knee-high black socks and loafers.
At just 21 and with an eye for fashion like this, Rae is undoubtedly the industry’s next big thing. Watch out Emma Chamberlain, your signature midi skirt and loafer combo might have some competition on the horizon.
