A first-of-its-kind luxury beverage store is making its way to Abu Dhabi.
The UAE capital is set to welcome concept beverage store Royal Spirit and is set to change the game when it comes to alcoholic offerings in the emirate.
Spanning across an expansive 3500 sq ft space, Royal Spirit aims to infuse affordable luxury into the experience of buying spirits.
Boasting lush and elevated interiors, the store itself intends to be an experience in itself for all discerning shoppers, particularly as it will house over 1000 different labels of wine and 700 liquor brands to cater to shoppers of all tastes, preferences and budgets.
Creating a refined and upmarket experience for customers was one of the main objectives from the beginning of the project, as explained by Trupti Majethiya, co-founder and managing director of Royal Spirit.
“We have modelled the store around a premium lounge experience, making it luxurious and visually appealing,” she says. “Concurrently, on the product front, we have masterfully hand-picked beverages from across the world, focusing extensively on range.”
Evidently, it’s in the store’s moniker itself. “As the name suggests, it is royal in size, selections and sophistication,” Trupti adds.
For Royal Spirit, the royal experience doesn’t just start and end with its physical space. The concept store will be partnering with leading hospitality brands and Michelin-starred restaurants in the UAE, as well as expanding its B2B on-trade, corporate, app-powered doorstep delivery, as well as a private client division specifically for connoisseurs.
As Mark Demyan, general manager of Royal Spirit, notes, it’s part of the luxury beverage store’s “ambitious vision” for the UAE.
“Royal Spirit is an embodiment of our ambitious vision to become a byword for excellence in beverage retailing and distribution in the UAE,” he says. “As things stand, liquor buying is largely a ‘supermarket’ experience without expert advice, curated premium beverages, and a distinctive ambience.
“We aren’t just going to change that; we will revolutionize it by leveraging data-led insights to personalize our services and craft a superior shopping experience for our patrons.”
