This December, Riyadh is set to turn the volume all the way up.
From December 4 to December 13, the city will host Riyadh Music Week 2025, an ambitious, city-spanning celebration of sound, culture and creativity led by the Saudi Music Commission under the umbrella of the Ministry of Culture.
At its core, Riyadh Music Week is about connection. Between local and global talent. Between creativity and industry. And between policy, education and community.
Over ten days, the programme will unfold across the city with concerts, conferences, summits and grassroots “Fringe” events popping up everywhere from heritage sites and art districts to cafés and hotels.
Headline partners including SRMG and MDLBEAST anchor an expansive line-up, while major international gatherings such as the International Music Managers Forum, Music Makers Summit and XP Music Futures underline Riyadh’s growing role as a serious global music hub. Alongside the live performances, there’s real substance too: policy forums, education platforms, music-tech showcases and cross-sector innovation all designed to leave a lasting impact long after the final note has played.
“Riyadh Music Week 2025 is our invitation to the world to experience the vibrant pulse of Saudi Arabia’s music landscape,” said Paul Pacifico, CEO of the Music Commission. “This platform is where global and local voices meet, from artists and producers to educators and policymakers.
“It embodies the spirit of cultural exchange and shared creativity that defines today’s global music scene. We welcome everyone; from schools and universities to artists, labels, and entrepreneurs, to join us in shaping a future where music connects us all.”
The initiative is built around four pillars: talent, scene, impact and innovation. Together, they aim to unlock sustainable careers for artists, create new business opportunities, advance progressive policy and inspire community-wide participation through accessible, music-led experiences. It’s a clear signal of Saudi Arabia’s long-term commitment to nurturing a thriving, inclusive and economically robust music ecosystem.
The result? Riyadh Music Week aims to go beyond what happens on stage, its goal is to build a music industry that’s future-facing, collaborative and deeply rooted in culture.
