Meghan Markle and Prince Harry touched down in South America for a whirlwind tour of Colombia’s vibrant cities of Bogotá, Cartagena and Cali. Commencing on August 15, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex travelled from Montecito upon the invitation of Vice President Francia Márquez. Their itinerary involved a cultural immersion in the country’s rich traditions, including a musical performance at the Delia Zapata National Arts Center and a visit to Colombia’s Invictus Games team at a rehabilitation centre.

For their first-ever excursion to Latin America, the American Riviera Orchard continued to embrace the merits of capsule dressing by opting for sleek minimal styles. Though never one to ignore her surroundings, as she proved during her recent stay in Nigeria, Meghan’s hybrid work wardrobe also included a slew of colourful local designers, too. Contrasting tonal silhouettes with decorative prints, Meghan brought a balmy touch to her newfound quietly luxurious sense of style.

Be it the copper Victoria Beckham shirt she wore to deliver a speech at the Responsible Digital Future summit or the breezy linen skirt from Australian brand Posse, Meghan’s wardrobe is a masterclass on elevated basics. Below, every single outfit Meghan Markle has worn during her trip to Colombia, including where to shop GRAZIA’s favourite pieces and keep up with the Sussex’s movements, here.

On the first day of their journey, Prince Harry and Meghan made their first public appearance at the residence of Vice President Francia Márquez. The couple joined the politician and her husband for a welcome breakfast and gift exchange. Meghan wore a navy blue tailored set from Veronica Beard, featuring cropped-leg pants and a halterneck style waistcoat.

After visiting a local charter school, Meghan,  Prince Harry and Márquez visited the Centro Nacional de las Artes Delia Zapata for a display of Bogotá’s art scene. To sartorially match the creative energy, Meghan changed into a woven midi dress threaded with metallic tweed by Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz. Clearly across the discourse about the thonged heel, Meghan slipped into a pair from Jimmy Choo, too.

For her time addressing the crowd, Meghan opted for her tried-and-trusted styling hack of tonal dressing. The concept is to wear complimentary variations of the same hue, which was selected as a deep bronze colour for her appearance on stage at Universidad EAN. Her silk shirt came courtesy of Victoria Beckham, with her silk pants from New York-based brand La Ligne. Cartier’s Juste un Clou necklace completed the look.

To commence their second day on the ground, Meghan and Prince Harry attended the Colegio La Giraldaon school in Santa Fe. Adopting a more collegiate look fitting for the public school, the former Suits star wore a lightweight Loro Piana blazer, a white button down and Chanel cap-toe slingback flats.

For a historic visit to San Basilio de Palenque, a village established in 1619 that became the first free African town in the Americas, Meghan once again wore a monochromatic ensemble. The Duchess wore a linen maxi skirt from Australian label Posse, a ribbed knit singlet top from Argent, Emme Parsons leather sandals and woven earrings from Maria E Esquivia.

Later, on the third day of their expedition, wore another Johanna Ortiz set. Looking to a nautical motif, the set featured an illustration of a sailor’s knot over the maxi skirt and ruffled crop top.
