While HH Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum posted a short reel expressing her gratitude to her father.
“He has vision, ambition, he is the leader of Dubai, its inspiration…but most of all, he is my father,” she captioned the post. “May you be the hope for your family, your people, and all the aspirants in the world, every year forward.”
Who is HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum?
Sheikh Mohammed is the current Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Born on July 15, 1949, he has been a pivotal figure in transforming Dubai and the UAE into a global metropolis. He was appointed as the Prime Minister of the UAE in 2006 and has since led numerous ambitious projects that have put Dubai on the world map, from the iconic Burj Khalifa to the sprawling Palm Jumeirah.

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Announces Sheikh Hamdan as Deputy Prime Minister
Over the weekend, the Dubai royal family celebrated the news that HH Sheikh Hamdan will assume a new role in the government.
Under the directive of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan has been appointed as Deputy Prime Minister.
Sheikh Mohammed highlighted Sheikh Hamdan’s capabilities, stating, “Sheikh Hamdan is a true supporter. He is a leader who loves people and is loved by them. We have high confidence that he will be a valuable addition to the UAE government and a major contributor to shaping the future of the UAE.”
