When Lebanese icon Najwa Karam performs, she never misses the chance to end her concert with a little surprise. But it was during her latest performance that the star dropped the biggest surprise of them all.
While on tour in Bucharest for her joint concert with Romanian pop singer Antonia, Najwa wore a custom couture gown by Lebanese designer Rami Kadi, which she later revealed to be her wedding dress.
On stage, she gleefully announced, “This dress means quite a lot to me! Not only because it’s a colour I highly favour, but because it was my wedding colour. This is the dress I wore to my wedding.”
Naturally, the singer’s fans cheered in excitement over the official news of her marital status which many have speculated over.
The news of the surprise announcement quickly spread to other celebrities like Assala Nasri, Maya Diab, Diana Haddad, and Rami Kadi himself who congratulated her on her nuptials.
After the concert, she took to Instagram a series of photos showcasing the pearlescent couture wedding dress that highlights a draped silhouette with a cathedral train length.
Who is Najwa Karam’s husband?
Najwa is married to Emirati businessman Omar Aldahmani – the chairman of Al Dahmani and Moments Events based in Dubai, UAE. Not much is detailed about their wedding and relationship because Najwa prefers to keep her private life personal.
Still, she received bountiful wishes from her fans.
A tribute Performance for King Mohammed VI
Prior to her concert in Romania, the award-winning singer performed her song “Don’t Be Surprised,” a tribute to the Kingdom of Morocco and their monarch King Mohammad VI at the Nahda Square Theatre for the Mawazine Festival.
As the closing act, she garnered the highest and largest attendees seen, surpassing all other Arab concerts, and setting a new record in the Middle East.
