All The Red Carpet Looks From The 2021 BRIT Awards
Britain's music night of nights did not fail to deliver in glamour and style
If you thought the awards season was all but finished following last month’s Academy Awards, the 2021 BRIT Awards was a welcomed surprise overnight. Held at the O2 Arena in the heart of London, local and international guests enjoyed a near-normal soiree as the red carpet returned and 4,000-strong audience was in attendance. Of course social distancing and face masks were required but it failed to dampen the festivities.
All eyes were on the red carpet (one of the first IRL) and did not disappoint featuring the likes of Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo and the Little Mix trio. Standout style however arrived with Dua Lipa, who paired a sky-scraping bouffant (in honour of Amy Winehouse) with a custom Vivienne Westwood ensemble.
Up-and-coming star Griff served as an unexpected favourite for the evening. The artist first appeared on the red carpet wearing a custom Susan Fang gown before appearing twice more during the evening in a series of stunning ensembles. Griff won the Rising Star Award for her new hit “Black Hole”.
Good tailoring was also on show at the 2021 BRIT Awards. The Row made a red carpet debut thanks to the Haim sisters who took a pared down approach to red carpet dressing. Harry Styles was once again spotted wearing head-to-toe Gucci (be still my beating heart) in a retro double-breasted blazer, flair pants, suede sneakers and brown leather handbag. The new silhouette will surely become next season’s ‘IT’ bag if Styles has anything to do with it.
Other men of note included Billy Porter in black lace (but of course), MNEK in a cornflour blue blazer and pleated pants and Headie One in Louis Vuitton.
