During the new episode, Kris Jenner was speaking with Kim Kardashian who was reportedly the first to know of Barker’s plans to propose. According to the momager, he asked for her blessing before visit the grave of Robert Kardashian Sr, to do the same.

“He asked for her hand in marriage, and I was like, literally, I want to cry now,” she told Kim. “It was so sweet and so tender. And then he said he went to your dad’s grave and asked your dad [for permission], and I just lost it.”

Jenner continued through tears, “It’s all happy, I just wish your dad was here to see it. I can hardly believe that it’s the first time that she’s getting married.”

Robert became a household name during the infamous O.J. Simpson trial and died of esophageal cancer in 2003 at the age of 59.

“I just used to be really indecisive,” she said. “I felt like I had to poll a lot of people to help me decide things. … I think it was in a time when I maybe felt more insecure or not in the greatest relationships.”

Barker and Kardashian were first romantically-linked in late 2020 after a long friendship with the 42-year-old admitting that she made the first move after a movie night.

“He was taking a long time,” she revealed in the premiere of The Kardashians. “The movie was over, we started a new movie and I was like, I don’t have time for this movie marathon… so I made the first move.”
