Sharon Stone is ageing gracefully and she has stepped away from using botox. In a new interview the “Basic Instinct” actress revealed that she was recently in a relationship with a much younger man who split with her after she refused to use injectables. At the time Stone reportedly responded to request at the time, saying, “It would probably be really good for your ego and mine if I did.”

“I saw him one more time after that and then he wasn’t interested in seeing me anymore,” Stone told the publication. “If you don’t see me for more than that, you’ll please find your way to the exit.”

Her reason for not using botox didn’t come down to pride, but necessity for her health. She has previously used beauty injectables but suffered adverse side effects. “There were periods in the super fame when I got Botox and filler and stuff, and then I had this massive stroke and a nine-day brain haemorrhage and I had to have over 300 shots of Botox and filler to make the one side of my face come up again,” the actress recalled.

Fellow actress Jennifer Garner has a similar approach to ageing. In a recent interview she advised men and women to be “very, very incredibly judicious and wait as absolutely long as possible to add anything.” “My advice is to look at the mirror less and be cautious when it comes to injecting anything into your face,” she said.

Stone has long been candid about her body, particularly under the guise of men. Detailed within her memoir The Beauty of Living Twice the actress revealed that her breasts were enlarged without her consent. “He thought that I would look better with bigger ‘better’ boobs,” she wrote. “They go better with your hip size,” the surgeon said at the time.
