Rosie Huntington-Whiteley’s latest ensemble is all I can think about. On Tuesday, April 13, the Rose Inc. founder was spotted out and about in New York City donning a neutral-toned ensemble worthy of all the praise. Naturally, the look is drawing attention on social media, one reason being that it’s the perfect-for-spring outfit. The second? She was curiously carrying not one but two Bottega Veneta handbags.
The first is impossible to miss, from the Italian luxury fashion house’s Resort 2021 collection. Fashion aficionados got their first look at the handbag—a larger addition to Daniel Lee’s already-popular Shell tote shape—in July 2020, as seen in Look 9 of the creative director’s 65-piece collection. For reference, the bag is 17.7 inches wide and 15.7 inches tall; certainly big enough to fit the essentials and more. In addition to The Shell tote, Huntington-Whiteley tucked a large white version of Lee’s first major accessory hit, “The Pouch,” under her arm.
As for the rest of the look? The model opted for two more runway favourites from Bottega Veneta: the label’s asymmetric leather-panelled twill trench coat from the House’s Fall 2020 Ready-to-Wear collection and 90mm Leather Thong Sandals, a new release for Spring-Summer 2021. On the bottom, she wore the now-sold-out Corza High-Rise Skinny Scuba Pants from The Row, and she accessorised with a 14-karat gold choker from fine jewellery designer Lauren Rubinski.
