As expected, Lizzo Beating‘s birthday was anything but low key. On Instagram the singer kicked off her day with an avant-garde photoshoot which she shared to her 12 million followers. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY LIZZO!,” she seemingly wrote to herself (?). “I don’t need no cards.. I don’t need no gifts… just world peace… and for people to be kinder to themselves….. (AND FOR EVERYONE TO STREAM ‘ABOUT DAMN TIME’ AT LEAST TWICE).”
She continued, “Here’s to another incredible year! Taurus season has officially begun!”
Just days after Lizzo confirmed she was in a relationship, the singer was again spotted hand-in-hand with her mysterious beau as she celebrated her 34th birthday on Tuesday evening. The “Good As Hell” artist was photographed at celebrity hotspot Craig’s in Los Angeles wearing a sheer midi slip dress embellished in crystals and feathers from cult London-born label, 16Arlington.
The 1920s-inspired piece was paired with holographic pointed pumps and sunglasses emblazoned with “That B**ch”.
16Arlington has become synonymous with glitzy party dresses and has been worn by the likes of Amal Clooney, Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez in the past. The feathered look serves as pared-back sequel, compared to Lizzo’s recent Coachella appearance where she famously performed alongside Harry Styles in huge pink feathered coats. Simply iconic.
We’re still deciphering the identity of Lizzo’s new man whom she has been linked to since last October. When pressed about the relationship in a recent interview with Andy Cohen, she remained coy and replied, “Yeah, whatever yeah.”
