Celebrities Revisit Bungalow 8 For New Gucci Boutique Opening
All out for one more dance
Gucci celebrated the opening of its Bungalow 8 boutique in New York City with a star-studded event. Here are the night’s best dressed.
Over the weekend, Gucci celebrated the opening of its new boutique in the Meatpacking District of New York City with a slew of star-studded guests. Paying homage to the neighbourhood’s vibrant nightlight, the luxury house revived Bungalow 8 for one last hurrah.
The iconic club was the Studio 54 of the early 2000s, known for its exclusive nature and A-Lister frequenters that included Paris Hilton, George Clooney, Naomi Campbell, and even Bill Clinton. Though it closed its doors for good in 2009, Gucci collaborated with its founder Amy Sacco to recreate the Indie-Sleaze glam in all its former glory.
From the velvet walls and Cosmopolitan cocktails to the palm tree prints and striped couches, it was the ultimate throwback for new and past revellers.
Guests of the house included Alexa Chung, Sienna Miller, Idris and Sabrina Elba, Iman, Georgia Fowler, Phoebe Bridgers, Christopher Meloni, Cara Delevingne, Leonardo DiCaprio, Karen Elson, Jessica Wang and plenty more—all clad in Gucci, of course.
