This week Bulgari announced that Elsa Pataky will join the Roman Maison as a new friend of the brand. The Spanish-born Australian-based star is a woman of many talents including – but not limited to – an author, actress, model and beauty brand founder.
She is best known for her role as Elena Neves in the Fast & The Furious franchise. In 2022 she returned to the screen to play the read role of Captain JJ Collins in the Netflix film, Interceptor. Preparation for the film required four months of intense training and upon release, the action film earned the top trending spot on the streaming platform for several weeks.
Her strength of character and sensuality was immediately apparent to Bulgari, thus she was a natural choice for the jeweller. She joins a lengthy roster of women welcomed into the Bulgari family including Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Priyanka Chopra and Dua Lipa. Earlier this year Australian rising stars Olivia DeJonge and Mia Healey also joined the brand.
“I’ve always loved the bold and confident spirit that Bulgari stands for,” Pataky said in a statement. “There are so many timeless and iconic styles like Serpenti that make you feel powerful and joyful at the same time when you wear the pieces.”
Pataky will continue a successful career on the screen this year with the forthcoming release of two more films. The upcoming thriller, Poker Face, alongside Russell Crowe and Liam Hemsworth and the musical drama, Carmen, directed by Benjamin Millepied.
This month also marked the release of a Bulgari documentary titled Inside the Dream, an unprecedented look behind the scenes at the Roman maison and the creative process behind some of the brand’s most iconic pieces.
