If you haven’t heard this name or seen this face, Australian actress Mia Healey is about to be everywhere. Today Roman luxury Maison Bulgari, announced the rising star as the newest friend of the brand.

After graduating from Australia’s prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) where she completed a Diploma of Stage and Screen Performance in 2017, the starlet went onto appear in the hit Amazon Prime series The Wilds alongside an extensive cast. She has since caught the attention of Hollywood for her enigmatic portrayal of Texan pageant queen, Shelby Goodkind.

Healey joins good company including the likes of Zendaya and Dua Lipa who have long been friends of Bulgari. The brand has also counted the likes of Audrey Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor as clients so it comes as no surprise that cinema remains a great source of inspiration for the Roman jeweller. The 23-year-old follows fellow Australian actress Olivia DeJonge – known for her role in Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming Elvis biopic – who was also named an ambassador in February.

“I love that Bulgari speaks to someone who isn’t afraid to write their own rules. It’s about embracing this kind of inner strength, which I think is seductive and empowering,” Healey said of the new venture. She captured the attention of Bulgari thanks to her magnetic presence both on and off the camera, according to the brand.

Healey currently splits her time between Sydney and Los Angeles while she readies for the season two release of The Wilds in May.
