Since debuting in 1940, the snake motif has formed much of the brand identity around the Bulgari as it continues to evolve season after season. From the stylised tubogas versions to the modern and essential iterations of Serpenti Viper. Like a snake shedding their skin, the next iteration of the fine jewellery line is rid of any embellishments to capture a simple and radical shape for 2022.

The forthcoming and pared-back collection sees one graphic and iconic design element imagined in three gold options for three different sets and endless ways to style them – mixed and matched, layered or simply worn on its own. Wearable but distinctly Bulgari.

Steeped in meticulous craftsmanship, the brand’s master artisans mount them – one by one – on an internal gold coil: an intricate procedure that allows to obtain Serpenti jewels’ trademark flexuosity and suppleness. The two pieces – a Serpenti Viper coiled bracelet and ring – are made available in 18kt yellow, rose or white gold and for the first time will be provided with a unique certificate attesting the use of ethical gold.

The collection is also accompanied by a sparkling necklace in 18kt rose gold, entirely set with more than 40 carats of pavé diamonds for a touch of glitz and glamour. Explore the newest offering from Bulgari, here.

The news follows the naming of Bulgari’s latest face last month. Up-and-coming Australian actress Mia Healey will join the Roman Maison as a friend of the brand after her latest appearance Amazon Prime series, The Wilds. She joins the likes of Dua Lipa, Zendaya and fellow Australian star, Olivia DeJonge.
