It’s been a big year for Dua Lipa – she won awards, performed across the world, released swathes of new music, cemented her place as a style star and made headlines for her PDA-filled relationship with Anwar Hadid – but it seems 2022 is shaping up to be even more major for the singer.

According to reports in the Sunday Mirror, Lipa is set to turn her recently announced newsletter, Service95, into a fully-fledged lifestyle brand. In new paperwork uncovered by the publication, it’s revealed that Lipa has filed trademarks against a suite of merchandise, including cosmetics, food, drinks, clothes and jewellery.

That means we’ll likely see a line of fragrance from the star, as well as skincare, makeup, fashion and accessories. Lipa is also seemingly eyeing off the homewares category, as the trademark also covers electrical goods, books, soft furnishings, furniture – even gardening equipment!

While the star’s team have yet to respond on the trademark filings, it wouldn’t be the first time a celebrity started a lifestyle brand from a newsletter – after all, that’s how Gwyneth Paltrow began her Goop empire.

The We’re Good singer is certainly excited about her new venture, as she detailed on Instagram of the free newsletter launch, “I have always seen myself as someone who is of service to my fans and my followers,” she said. “I wanted to create a little hub and a platform that encapsulates exactly that.”

For now, Lipa is living it up as a single girl after a rumoured split from longtime boyfriend Hadid. In recent weeks, the star headed to the countryside with a group of her closest girlfriends for an end-of-year “reset”.

While the pair have yet to confirm the breakup, sources confirmed to Us Weekly that the couple has in fact called time on their two-year romance. “They’re no longer dating,” revealed the insider.

Maybe the launch of a lifestyle brand is exactly the energy that Lipa needs going in to 2022.
