From Timothée Chalamet to Dua Lipa, Saturday Night Live has been celebrating the silly season in a big way. Hosted by Bridesmaids star Kristen Wiig, Lipa graced the small screen in a number of comedic skits and live performances over the weekend, which included two stunning fashion moments.

“It was such an honour to be invited back to the SNL stage for their last show of 2020,” she wrote on Instagram. “Felt so lucky to be rounding off my year with these performances and for SNL to have had me on for a skit too!! Watching everyone work and the magic behind it will be something i’ll never forget. Kristen Wiig and the whole cast were so cool and i’m still floating from all the energy 🤍 Thank you Lorne, Brian and Mel for all of your support. Thank you to my team who really are the best best BEST!!!”

Following a cameo as ‘Marjorie’ set during World War II (I am yet to learn of the exact context of the skit), the artist stunned viewers in a performance of hit single ‘Levitating’. Standing on an elevated platform, Lipa wore a billowing white gown and feathered hat from Valentino’s Fall/Winter 20 Couture collection. The look was finished with Fabergé jewellery.

The man behind Dua Lipa’s most famous looks is stylist Lorenzo Posocco.

Lipa also made an appearance in a vintage Azzedine Alaïa leopard-print top for ‘Don’t Stop Now’ which was accessorised with sheer black tights and boots.

The British singer has quickly become one of our favourite style icons. Most recently, Lipa has inspired our winter wardrobe in Burberry, Prada and Richard Quinn, and despite restrictions still manages to stun on the virtual red carpet wearing none other than  Versace.

Be right back, I’m off to find a feathered hat.
