Days after Emma Corrin showcased their fashion superpower at the Berlin and London premieres of Deadpool & Wolverine, the actor has materialised over 9,000 kilometres away on the other side of the Atlantic ocean hand-in-hand with boyfriend Rami Malek. Between donning high-octane Schiaparelli couture and deliciously silken Saint Laurent, the pair (who will soon celebrate their one-year anniversary) have offered another taste of their complimentary couple style through these coordinating resort looks.
Strolling down the shores of Rio de Janeiro’s famous Ipanema Beach, the performers could be seen embracing the merits of the ‘coastal grandmother’ aesthetic in soft knits, maritime stripes and slouchy linens. Corrin, who will make their debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the parasitic supervillain Cassandra Nova, wore an ivory crew sweater, boxer shorts, soft leather moon-shaped bag and carried Birkenstock’s suede Boston slip-ons. Malek corresponded to Corrin’s look, sporting an ecru button-down and similarly toned trousers darkened from the knee down, suggesting the couple waded into the turquoise wash. See the looks here.
The actors quietly began their public relationship with a few dates around England, including attending Bruce Springsteen’s Hyde Park concert and a shore-lined dinner at a seafood restaurant in the arty town of Margate, Kent. They soon took their relationships bi-coastal, making their official debut at the 2023 U.S. Open.

Yet, it was their matching Miu Miu tailoring during Paris Fashion Week’s Spring/Summer 2024 season that cemented the pair as a burgeoning fashion ‘It’ couple. (May those who dress together and get Mrs. Prada’s tick of approval, stay together.)

Corrin’s time in Brazil also saw them attend some promotional commitments for the upcoming release alongside co-stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman. The highly-anticipated third instalment of the trilogy will see the wisecrack anti-hero team up with a Wolverine variant in an attempt to save his own universe and timeline.
Corrin portrays an other-worldly mutant antagonist, drawing inspiration from Christoph Waltz’s sociopathic character from Inglourious Basterds and Gene Wilder’s Willy Wonka for the role. Succession’s Matthew Macfadyen and a few other surprise cameo appearances round out the cast. Deadpool & Wolverine will premiere in Australian theatres on July 25.
