With months of imposed lockdowns, it’s not a secret we’re all yearning for an escape. But with international travel bans still in full swing, many have taken to discovering their own backyard, so to speak, with local travel now on the agenda for those satiating a case of wanderlust (and indeed, a sense of sanity). One such person is Elsa Hosk.

Today, the model shared her “Lil roadtrip” on Instagram, emerging (or perhaps entering) a car somewhere in the States (her current hometown). But instead of track pants, a tee and sneakers (typical road trip fashion fare), Elsa Hosk was a vision in Isabel Marant.
Wearing a twinset by the French designer, Hosk paired Marant’s textured, embroidered Baxia shorts with its matching Belia jacket, an oversized cotton-blend canvas jacket-cum-anorak with detachable sleeves so that it can be worn as a vest, too (very chic, indeed). In a cute styling hack, she also folded the shorts up at the hem to reveal their teal interior which tied in to the teal lapel of the jacket, which she wore open.

Hosk paired the striking blazer and short combo with black accessories; her signature rounded cat-eye sunglasses and a pair of Suicoke’s black velcro-strapped DEPA-V2 sandals, plus a metallic silver bucket bag also from Isabel Marant.
Tapping Marant’s bohemian approach to Americana, it was a chic take on travel style (with a functional twist by way of footwear). If only all road trips looked like this.
