This Valentine’s Day, I am extra excited for the fashion that comes along with the love-filled weekend — and basically the entire month of February. Maybe it’s because last year felt like a bit of a wash as COVID spiked, yet again. Or maybe it’s because Valentine’s Day is also my birthday and I am looking forward to finally celebrating out and about with my loved ones. Either way, I’m here for it!
Valentine’s Day can be hit or miss amongst public opinion. You’re either a hopeless romantic who loves love, spending the night watching rom coms with heart printed pajamas on, or you more-or-less boycott the whole holiday and don’t particularly understand why there is a celebrated season for being in love (I bet you can guess which one I am based on my excitement above). Regardless of how you feel about Cupid’s glory day, there is one universal aspect of Valentine’s Day we can all agree on — and that’s loving any excuse to buy new clothes and show off our favorite fashions.
