Uniqlo and JW Anderson’s collaboration has been a kind of savior for those wanting their high fashion fix in an affordable, wearable format. It merges the Irish designer’s singular vision with the Japanese retailer’s knack for seamless life wear and in turn, has provided beautiful basics with a twist.

Now, another collection is in the works, with Uniqlo announcing their JW Anderson Spring / Summer 2020 collection is set to launch October 22. The forthcoming collaboration is themed “British Country Style,” which blends British classics with Uniqlo’s famous LifeWear.
Excitingly, it’s also the first time there will be a kids line, with designs and details essentially the same as for adults, only in commensurately smaller sizes.
The collection combines the functionality and quality of Uniqlo’s LifeWear with Jonathan Anderson’s playful take on traditional British patterns such as gingham, checks and patchwork to add a little fun to spring and summer dressing.

It also includes numerous new items in JW Anderson’s signature bold hues. Men’s pocket parkas are updated with anorak styling for a genderless look. While for women, patchwork dresses and skirts punctuate the range, as do tote bags in graphic gingham.
There are also linen-blend blouses inspired by vintage sailing apparel and nostalgic silhouettes that evoke the good ol’ days. Like spring in the British countryside, October couldn’t come soon enough.
