Located on 5.7 acres of beachfront land in Westhampton — just an 80-minute drive from Manhattan and 10 minutes from Francis S. Gabreski Airport – the Dune Deck Beach Club offers an unmatched setting for enjoying the old-world charm of the Hamptons along with some world-class pampering.
The Dune Deck Beach Club was redeveloped by serial entrepreneur Mike Meldman, CEO of Discovery Land Project and co-founder of Casamigos Tequila (along George Clooney and Rande Gerber). Meldman’s goal with the Dune Deck Beach Club was to create a private members-only beach club with top amenities and high-end oceanfront lodging options (there are 33 furnished suites available, decorated in tasteful, muted tones that complement the beachy vibe).
“I believe the mark of a successful club is a sense of community, and that’s very apparent at the Dune Deck,” says Meldman. “If other members turn into friends which turn into family, that’s a huge success. I know that that sense is something we have at all of our clubs. Even staff members tend to become close friends and chosen family for our members.”
The seasonal offerings from The Well include Swedish Massage, Lymph Drainage, Deep Tissue Massage, Cupping and Salt Stone Bath, IV Vitamin drips, and Collagen Boost along with a menu of Dr. Barbara Sturm signature facials. Members can also take movement and fitness classes including barre and Pilates, yoga, HIIT, and beach boot camp along with personal coaching and nutrition guidance. Guests can also explore a rotating lineup of “Visiting Masters” in both Eastern and Western healing practices and a retail store features an assortment of “clean” products.
The Club’s “Outdoor Pursuits” program features a variety of toys and games along with guidedsurfing, kayaking, kiteboarding, wakeboarding, paddle-boarding, skimboarding, boogie boarding, sailing, tubing, jet skiing, and fishing, as well as hiking, electric beach biking, water bikes, and wine tasting; for Summer 2022, a brand-new Sports Court has been added, with three pickleball courts and a basketball net. There is certainly no shortage of activities to keep busy and promote an active lifestyle.
If lounging is more your thing, there is a spacious pool deck lined with luxurious cabanas. The beach features comfortable chairs and striped umbrellas for a day in the sand.
