The brainchild of Jen Menchaca and Lisa Hickey — moms with over 30 combined years of experience working in fashion — perfectwhitetee was founded with an eye towards casual-cool basics using the very best materials and sold at a reasonable price point.
“The brand was born from the idea that we create each style that you will covet like that one perfect white tee in your closet,” Menchaca, a Los Angeles native, and Hickey, a New Yorker, tell GRAZIA USA. “We like to find the perfect fit and fabric for each silhouette. Our fit, fabrics and curated assortment are the keys to our success.”
The brand has since found a dedicated fan base including Katherine Schwarzenegger, Arielle Charnas and Tinx thanks to the well-fitting pieces which include T-shirts (natch), tank tops (I have them in every color), plus hoodies, sweatpants and shorts.
“We only build upon our best-sellers,” the founders explain. “Everything is numbers driven; new styles are based on what our customers truly love. We’ve also partnered with one of the most progressive family-owned knitting mills in California, so we are sourcing the best fabrics first and at the best pricing.”
As for what’s next, expect a kid’s line for younger fans. “We are looking forward to introducing a few woven pieces as well as launching a capsule for our mini perfectwhitetee customers,” the duo explain.
