Sign us up. The Natural Diamond Council has teamed up with publisher Assouline—a go-to authority on fashion , travel and luxury publications—to create “Diamonds,” dedicated to the world’s most sought-after jewel. In telling the story of today’s expression of natural diamonds and their continuous impact on the world, this new tome dives into tales of the world’s most captivating stones, from the Hope Diamond, De Beers Millennium Star diamond, to the legend of the Beau Sancy Diamond, and cultural moments like Marilyn’s infamous “Diamonds are a girl’s bestfriend.” The book features stunning images, tall tales, and interviews with top designers, tastemakers, and enthusiasts and a forward from esteemed editor, Edward Enninful.

The edition, authored by fashion critic Anders Christian Madsen, covers the scope of diamonds, from its history, to providing a space for new and merging artisan jewelry designers to highlight their diamond focused creations. Brands like Meesika, Suzanne Kalan and Anita Ko. As diamonds are a huge widespread cultural piece of iconography, the book includes quotes from today’s cultural figures and disrupters like Kendall Jenner, Offest and actress Lucy Boynton about their sentiments around the precious stone.
