The 50th Telluride Film Festival came to a close on September 4, with the celebration of the winners of the festival’s awards. The prestigious Silver Medallion Awards, which recognize significant contributions to cinema, were presented to Greek filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos for Poor Things, Italian writer-director Alice Rohrwacher for La Chimera, and German filmmaker Wim Wenders for Anselm and Perfect Days. The Special Medallion was awarded to Martin Scorsese’s The Film Foundation.
