There’s only been three episodes of Euphoria that has dropped so far, and it’s already been full of drama.

In episode 2, Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi) end up hooking up in the shower — and Maddy (Alexa Demie), who is Cassie’s bestie and Nate’s ex, almost finds out about their tryst. Luckily, Cassie hides out in the bathtub, and Maddy doesn’t notice her.

So, what will happen between Maddy and Cassie going forward? According to Sweeney, there’s a lot more to come. “Well I don’t want to give too much away, because it’s quite an experience and a rollercoaster,” she revealed during a chat with Entertainment Tonight. “There is some wreckage. There is definitely some wreckage.”

“The showdowns were very in the moment, extremely intense and not fun,” Demie explained. “But after the fact, you think about what you just shot, and you’re like, ‘Oh, that’s gonna be fun to watch.'”

The White Lotus alum also got to star alongside Maude Apatow, who plays her younger sister Lexi, which was a blast.

“We’re like best friends, so we had so much fun shooting together,” Apatow said. “There’s so many things that are explored this season that weren’t the first season. And I think their dynamic is a lot more complicated than you would expect.”

Additionally, Elordi enjoyed acting with Sweeney, as they barely got to interact when the show first aired.

“We had nothing to do with each other in the first season, and so I never really ever worked with her, but I mean creatively this season, we became a bit of a Bonnie and Clyde,” the handsome hunk, 24, told Entertainment Weekly. “Every time I was in, I was in with her, and vice versa. And she’s so, so good at what she does that it was just such a treat the entire time working with her. She brings it every single take, every single scene. And they’re always intense scenes with her as well, but we had so much fun. We got to play all kinds of different dynamics from that first meeting, and so it was such a treat working with her.”
