Red carpet season is back, baby! We had an indication of such when Blake Lively rocked pink sequined Prabal Gurung on the Free Guy red carpet on Monday, but Storm Reid said “step aside, I’m here to show y’all how it’s really done,” when she walked the red carpet for the premiere of The Suicide Squad in a custom Prada two-piece and a slick, chic sixteen-foot-long ponytail.

Let’s do the math on that: A sixteen-foot-long ponytail is a little more than three Kristen Bells, a little less than two-and-a-half Cousin Gregs. (I will stop making Succession references when I’m dead, thank you.) It’s a little less than half the length of a football field. When we say something is “floor-grazing”, Reid took it to the next level.

The hairstylist who created the look, Nai’vasha, shared that she used TRESemmé Extra Firm Control Gel to create and snatch Reid’s ponytail in place, before braiding 16 feet of braiding hair — I have no idea how many packs of Kanekalon hair went into this look, but I absolutely need to know now —  before finishing off the entire look with hairspray. “Creating powerful looks with a ‘less is more’ approach is a sweet spot for me,” Nai’vasha wrote in her Instagram post about the hairstyle. The look is completed with a silver hairtie and a sparkly, metallic black wing.

We’ll have to do an investigation as to how transportation works with a hairstyle this long, but until then, relish in these photos of Reid on the red carpet doing nothing more than feeling herself and vibing:

Willow Smith may have said ‘whip your hair’, but she didn’t fully know what that meant until Storm Reid walked the red carpet.
