After announcing the happy news on social media last month, Sofia Richie and fiancé Elliot Grainge have shared images from their engagement party which was held on Memorial Day weekend. The couple threw the chic soirée seemingly at the family home with some of their nearest and dearest in attendance.

Guests included Richie’s sister and socialite Nicole and brother Miles. Nicole’s husband, Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden was also in attendance as well as twin brother Benji Madden.

The bride-to-be opted for an embellished white long-sleeved midi dress which featured beaded flowers and embroidered details from the Antwerp-based label, Bernadette. She paired the ethereal look with Valentino Garavani platform sandals. The groom chose a relaxed linen suit — perfect for Los Angeles’ balmy spring weather.

As for the lavish details, it’s as if the decor came straight from a carefully curated mood board. A long table was dressed with small bouquets of pink roses, taper candles and clear crystal glassware. Food was a combination of Italian share plates and a perfect grazing board, while the cake featured two tiers covered with dried flowers.

The drinks menu comprised of two personalized cocktails for the couple. Grainge’s featured tequila, agave and lime juice (so essentially a margarita), while Richie’s combined vodka, fresh blackberries, lime, ginger beer and mint.

Richie and Grainge are believed to have been dating since late 2020, early 2021. They went public in April last years before their engagement nearly 12 months later. Richie was previously linked to Scott Disick. The couple had reportedly known of each other years before their relationship. Richie’s father is legendary singer Lionel Richie and Grainge’s father is Lucian Grainge, CEO of Universal Music Group.

“They have truly formed a solid bond recently and Sofia loves that they don’t have any drama,” a source said at the time of engagement rumors last year. “She loves how chill and calm Elliot is and they have a lot of fun together, even when they’re just being low-key at home.”
