In a time when method red carpet dressing looms large, Scarlett Johansson took a different approach, arriving at the London premiere of Jurassic World: Rebirth looking less prehistoric and more Old Hollywood siren. As the green carpet played host to the film’s stars in safari neutrals and reptilian motifs, Johansson eschewed literalism for something more classic, but no less striking.
Styled by Kate Young, she wore a custom beaded Vivienne Westwood gown in a pale blush hue that glistened under camera flashes. With a tried-and-true silhouette that featured the brand’s signature corseted bustier, complete with exposed boning and a delicate scoop neckline, and a draped column skirt, the dress was red carpet perfection. Dramatic chandelier earrings by Hassanzadeh and minimalist rings completed the look.
Doubling down on the ‘siren’ energy, hair stylist Renato Campora parted her curled blonde hair to the side, while makeup artist Hung Vanngo played into the gown’s blushed tones with a smoked peach eye and lips to match.
Johansson and her co-star Jonathan Bailey even shared a sweet kiss as they were reunited on the red carpet.
The actors were then joined by the rest of the cast, including Mahershala Ali and Rupert Friend, as well as their director, Gareth Edwards.
The world premiere look follows the Schiaparelli ensemble she opted for at the London photocall the day prior, which also eschewed any themed dressing.
With ballooning sleeves, gilded buttons, a micro hemline and a cinched waist, the top-and-skirt set was perfectly accessorised with stockings, patent pumps and a statement red lip.
