A TV fan cannot live on Loki alone! As Marvel’s latest Disney+ show rolls out one week at a time, you’ll need to find something to do with yourself between episodes. Thankfully, a bunch of shows are returning this weekend for their sophomore seasons.

We’ve been looking forward to this one all month. The first part of French crime drama Lupin took the world by storm when it premiered on Netflix earlier this year. Fans fell fast and hard for the dashing Assane Diop (Omar Sy), a suave criminal mastermind who is bent on bringing down wealthy tycoon Hubert Pellegrini (Hervé Pierre), who framed Assane’s Senegalese immigrant father for a theft he didn’t commit. Part 1 ended in a stunning cliffhanger, with Pellegrini kidnapping Assane’s young son at the same time as Detective Youssef Guedira (Soufiane Guerrab) finally catches up with the master thief. If you devoured the first five episodes in January, get ready for another heart-racing, dazzling ride this weekend!

The six-episode first season of this critical darling about a tight knit group of young female skateboarders dropped last May during the height of the pandemic. As New York remained a ghost town, fans fell in love with its bustling streets all over again via Betty. Now, as the Big Apple begins to open up, the series returns to HBOMax for a second season that takes place on those deserted streets. Obviously, lockdown doesn’t stop Janay (Dede Lovelace), Honeybear (Kabrina Adams), Kirt (Nina Moran), Indigo (Ajani Russell) and Camille (Rachelle Vinberg) from masking up and going skating. The women in this crew are so winning, it’s a good think Season 2’s six episodes are dropping weekly, otherwise you might lose another whole day of your life binging them. Not that that wouldn’t be time well spent!

We’re not generally into wishing ill upon people, but let’s just say that whichever Netflix exec. decided to cancel Tuca & Bertie after only one season back in 2019 needs to work on getting right with the Lord. Thankfully, the crazy kids over at Adult Swim picked up the animated series about two wild bird-women, voiced by Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong. Season 2 premieres on Sunday, and we’re expecting a lot of filthy antics paired with insightful social commentary and further exploration of Bertie’s (Wong) mental health.

Oh, to be young and in love! Season 2 of Hulu’s adorable teen dramedy Love, Victor picks up as Victor (Michael Cimino) navigates high school post-coming out. Sure there’s family drama—his mom (Ana Oritz) seems to be having a particularly hard time embracing her gay son. But certifiably dreamy new boyfriend Benji (George Sear) should make all of that a lot easier to cope with.
