We’ve received our first taste of unadulterated glamor ahead of this year’s 2022 Met Gala with the Prince’s Trust Global Gala, which took place on April 28 at at Cipriani Downtown in New York City. Hosted by fashion editor Edward Enninful OBE and musician Lionel Richie, the latter performed for the star-studded crowd, which was filled with supermodels — from Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss to Adut Akech and the Hadid sisters.
Founded by Charles, Prince of Wales in 1976, the organization’s core objective is to take on youth unemployment. Young people who have benefitted from the Prince’s Trust were in attendance, alongside Hollywood starlets, and some of fashion’s finest, all came out to celebrate the charity’s work, which began in the U.S.
With makeup aficionado Charlotte Tilbury attending as a Prince’s Trust Ambassador for Enterprise, stars from Kate Moss and Lily James to Bridgerton’s Phoebe Dynevor all showed up with their Charlotte Tilbury glam on. Tilbury, who sponsored the night’s red carpet event, was also joined by designer Michael Kors and Condé Nast.
