Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have finally wrapped up the last of their duties as senior royals, leaving the UK to head back to their new home of Canada and son, Archie Harrison, earlier this week.
After headlines surrounding icy royal greetings and Meghan’s ‘revenge’ looks, the one thing we didn’t expect to encounter was Prince Harry allegedly being tricked by Russian hackers to speak candidly about ‘Megxit,’ Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump.
But alas, here we are.
On Tuesday evening, Russian hoaxsters, Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexey Stolyarov, who once tricked Elton John, released two conversations with Prince Harry on YouTube, which were reportedly recorded on New Year’s Eve and January 22nd. The pair allegedly pretended they were activist Greta Thunberg while speaking to the Duke of Sussex, asking him questions surrounding the climate and Donald Trump, before moving into personal details about the royal family.
Of the US President, Harry allegedly said, Trump has “blood on his hands” for promoting the US coal industry.
Speaking about his and Meghan’s choice to move away from the royals, Harry said, “This decision certainly wasn’t the easy one but it was the right decision for our family, the right decision to be able to protect my son,” per The Sun. “And I think there’s a hell of a lot of people around the world that can identify and respect us for putting our family first,” he added.
The pranksters then asked Harry about reports of him being “stripped” of his royal duties. “No, no, again you mustn’t believe what you read. No one has stripped us of our titles,” he responded, according to The Sun.
When asked about Prince Andrew’s ties to billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who died in his prison cell in August 2019, he responded that he had “very little to say on that.”
“Whatever he has done or hasn’t done is completely separate from me and my wife. We operate in a way of inclusivity, and we are focusing on community. And so we are completely separate from the majority of my family,” he said.
