Just in time for summer, iconic feel-good footwear brand Scholl has teamed up with ISSIMO, the digital extension of the Pellicano Hotels, on a line of sandals that are as comfortable as they are fashionable. Designed by Marie-Louise Sciò, CEO and Creative Director of the Pellicano Hotels Group, the exclusive summer capsule collection is a reimagined version of the classic Pescura sandals.
“Scholl clogs embody Italian summers and are a staple that has been around for as long as I can remember,” Sciò said in the press release. “I have always been fascinated by their transversality: you see them on the beach, in the city, on young ladies shopping, nonnas hanging out, cinema stars lounging around! For Scholl — a comfort shoe leader which gained popularity in the 1960s and ’70s — the partnership with Pellicano Hotels was a natural fit. Together they created four versions of the Pescura heel that exudes Mediterranean elegance in different patterns and fabrics like velvet and linen. Sciò says the use of luxurious material plus the Pescura’s comfort and style is “an unbeatable combination that is also podiatrist approved!”
