After much speculations on what’s to happen come for this season’s Men’s Fashion Week in lieu of the new Omicron variant—today, the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode has finally released its provisional calendar outlining the shows. Foraging through safely and with precautions in place, the FHCM revealed that men’s fashion week (18-23 January) will still be going through as scheduled, with 77 shows on the schedule, most being presented in-person.

The Men’s Fall-Winter 2022 fashion week calendar published today by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode showcases 17 physical shows, 29 physical presentations, and 30 digital-only, all dependent on the “evolution of the health situation.” Although shows are still scheduled to go ahead, fashion houses are making their own calls to participate. Vtmnts and Amiri, who were set to make their Paris Fashion Week debut this season, have opted to sit out. Meanwhile, Rick Owens, Hermès, Dior, Ami, Y/Project , and newcomers Bianca Saunders and Rains are among the 17 shows still expected to be presented IRL. Louis Vuitton holds two spots on the calendar at 2:30 PM and 6:30 PM on Jan. 20—which we assume is to cut down capacity within the venue at once.

For all in-person shows, the FHCM is making it mandatory for all guests to present valid proof of vaccination to access any events. The federation will also offer all shows live on the FHCM’s digital platform, either through live streaming or digital films, as it’s done since the beginning of the pandemic.
