Paloma Elsesser Miaou Collab

The party never stops for supermodel Paloma Elsesser. After celebrating her new plus-size corset line with celebrity cult-favorite label Miaou at the N.Y.C. institution Raoul’s last week, Elsesser hopped across the pond for round two.

On Tuesday night, Paloma Elsesser toasted to her new inclusive line in London. Like the New York event, which was attended by Precious Lee, Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, Stella Greenspan, Jahleel Weaver, and Gray Sorrenti, Elsesser and Miaou designer Alexia Elkaim brought out a crowd of close friends and industry disruptors.

Jourdan Dunn, Julia Sarr-Jamois, Camille Charrière, Crystal Murray, and more made their way to Mayfair’s trendy restaurant and cabaret, Park Chinois, naturally all wearing waist-cinching corsets from the brand.

Elsesser herself wore a form-accentuating snakeskin-print corset paired with a statement beaded choker necklace from the Christian Dior by John Galliano Spring-Summer 1998 collection. Meanwhile, Dunn opted for a green and purple corset with a matching midi skirt showing off her midriff.

There was much to celebrate for Elsesser and Elkhaim. The 54-piece capsule marks the brand’s first venture into inclusive sizing. The Paloma capsule allows all women who identify with Miaou’s high-octane and sexy aesthetic to feel confident and comfortable.

In the true ethos of Miaou, the night was a family affair. The room was filled with laughter and intimate conversations between what Elsesser describes as a “sisterhood.”

“Every person entering the ethos becomes family,” Elkhaim says in a statement. The party — and champagne — continued late into the night.
