Billie Eilish has never been one for rules. So while all her peers arrived at the 92nd Annual Academy Awards in big ball gowns and dramatic trailing trains, Eilish chose a baggy pantsuit, fingerless gloves and stacked sneakers.
One to always subvert traditional codes of red carpet dressing, Eilish managed put a haute spin on her signature nonconformist style, with the entire look by Chanel. In snow white wool bouclé, the collared jacket and matching slouchy trouser was adorned with Chanel logo bling – that iconic ‘CC’ emblem rendered in sequins, crystals and pearls.
Attending acting night of nights for a “special performance,” Eilish was also dripping in Chanel jewels – layered both around her neck and from her ears. But the real fashion kicker came in the form of fingerless white lace gloves that were emblazoned with ‘CHANEL’ in contrast black, which she paired with exaggerated black nails.
Always a renegade when it comes to her style, we love Billie Eilish for always challenging the fashion establishment and wearing whatever she damn pleases.
