June 9, 2021: With 6.5 million Instagram followers and counting, Olivier Rousteing undeniably has a massive social media presence. The French designer loves documenting his personal life in and out of the office, from capturing his fabulous outfits of the day to behind-the-scenes fittings and casual hangs with friends like Cara Delevigne. So naturally, as the world begins to open up in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, we’ve been paying extra close attention to the Balmain creative director’s recent office looks, which are equal parts comfortable and insanely chic.

As seen on Instagram, the 35-year-old designer’s been taking business casual to new heights, and recently, he’s been on silk pajamas kick. Rousteing debuted his first set earlier this week, and it oozed classic Balmain vibes. The elegant black and white look featured the house’s vintage motif, the same one the designer has opted to bring back into his recent collections. He completed the outfit with a furry pair of black slippers that we, too, would wear 24/7 if they were a part of our designer wardrobe.

But his most recent office pajama look, debuted on Tuesday, June 8, feels 90s inspired—and I’m both obsessed and inspired. The designer paired a colorful Balmain pajama set with a navy blue blazer. He accessorized the ensemble with gold rings, a shoulder bag, sunglasses, and the aforementioned slippers that he’s openly obsessed with. “I love my Balmain slippers so-so much,” he mentioned in one of his IG stories with his slippers propped on his desk. Influenced yet?

Rousteing celebrated his ten-year anniversary at the famed fashion house this past April. #Balmainarmy friends, including Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Kylie Jenner, took to Instagram to celebrate the iconic designer. In addition, his documentary, entitled Wonder Boydepicting the fashion industry leader’s life and career is coming to Netflix on June 26.
