Modern Family actress Sarah Hyland and longtime love Wells Adams are officially married! Sealing the deal at the Sunstone Winery near Santa Barbara, California, the pair tied the knot in an intimate outdoor ceremony on Saturday, August 20.

Hyland chose two different Vera Wang HAUTE gowns for her big day, with help from her trusty stylist Brad Goreski and celebrity wedding dress designer extraordinaire, Wang. For the ceremony, she wore a pale ivory silk faille ballgown with a hand-pleated corseted bodice, sweetheart-style neckline, and French tulle off-the-shoulder drop sleeves. She leaned into the romantic bride aesthetic with a cathedral-length Italian tulle veil featuring a hand-appliqué macramé lace border.

For the afterparty, the actress slipped into her second gown of the evening, a white Italian crepe gown with hand-placed macramé lace and draped tulle sleeves. Throughout it all, her brunette tresses were styled in a timeless low chignon bun, with loose waves framing her face and her curtain bangs parted down the middle.

Vera Wang shared photos of the bride and groom (who wore Gucci), taken by wedding photographers, brothers John and Joseph. “CHARM PERSONIFIED🙏. So happy to share in your happiness!” Wang wrote, adding, “Wishing you both a wonderful new life together!”

The couple was joined by friends, family, and even Hyland’s on-screen family. The actress portrayed Haley Dunphy in the ABC sitcom Modern Family from 2009 to 2020, and many of her former castmates were on-hand, including Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ariel Winter, and Nolan Gould. Vergara even beat Hyland to the punch in sharing snapshots from the wedding.

The pair became acquainted after Hyland unabashedly expressed her massive crush on The Bachelorette in Paradise star on social media. They’ve been together since 2017 and Adams popped the question in a romantic beach proposal in 2019. The pair were meant to have tied the knot in 2020, but had to postpone their nuptials due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Valentine’s Day in 2021, Hyland took to Instagram with a few faux-wedding photos, writing, “Find someone who will take fake wedding pictures with you when everything is canceled ✨ Happy Valentine’s Day to my would be husband of 6 months by now 🙃 I love you to Pluto and back @wellsadams 💋.”

Last week, the 31-year-old actress shared some throwback engagement photos in anticipation of the wedding. Wearing an ivory feathered Monique Lhuillier minidress, Hyland and her beau posed on a dirt road in a wide, open field alongside a convertible.

“8.8.20 ✨ 2 years of would be marriage bliss,” Hyland wrote on Instagram. “I Love You to Pluto and Back 🤍 Let’s make it official already 😏.”

Hyland celebrated her bachelorette party in Mexico, gathering her closest friends at the Casa Aramara resort. The group, including Vanessa Hudgens, hung out by the pool, had fun on the beach and spent time lounging on boats.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
