Miley Cyrus had a big weekend. She hosted her New Year’s Eve party along with godmother Dolly Parton on NBC, and during her special, she revealed that she has new music is on the way.

During Miley’s New Years Eve Party, the singer announced her new single “Flowers” will drop on Jan. 13 and also shared a clip of the new single on Instagram. In the teaser video, Cyrus struts along a street in what looks like sunny L.A. wearing an amazing gold lamé dress. The fabulous piece looks very similar to the one from Yves Saint Laurent’s F/W 1991 collection and knowing Cyrus’ penchant for wearing vintage finds, we have a feeling she dipped into the archive for this one.

In the teaser, the star styled the gold look with sleek black sunnies and a messy updo. The beauty of Cyrus as an artist is that each era of music comes with a distinct style, and this new chapter looks like a very glam version. Though, through every new iteration of herself, she has always retained some sort of edgy element that makes any look feel completely Miley.

The superstar has dipped into the archives in the past. During a trip to New York City last year, she and her stylist Bradley Kenneth curated a wardrobe that was full of vintage pieces from Alexander McQueen, John Galliano and Chanel (you can spot them all here). During her Miley’s New Years Eve Party, she also had a cool throwback moment in vintage Bob Mackie.

In one of her outfit switches in the night, Cyrus matched with guest performer Paris Hilton in a baby pink dress with a plunging neckline and ruched waistline. She teamed it with a white heel and crimped crimped her hair in waves.

New Year, New Miley! We cannot wait to see what this music era has in store.
